By Chance We Meet, By Choice We Become Friends

In our everyday lives, we meet a lot of people. Some will be our friends and some will be just another stranger. We meet people who forget us. We forget people we meet. But sometimes, we meet people who we can't forget and those are our friends. Being friends is not about how long you've been together but it is about how you stay together when everybody walks out. Being friends is completely accepting each other. It is loving their flaws and imperfection.

Finding new friend is like finding a new you. It's like you got to a new place and discover a lot of things. You found a new side of you with them. You discover a lot more about yourself. You found a new you in your friends.

Tuesdays

I've read of this book entitled Tuesdays with Morrie. It is about an old man, a young man, and life greatest lesson. Mitch Albom, the author of the book reunited again with his college professor Morrie Schwartz. And he found out that his old professor has an ALS and dying. On his first visit, they talk about the world. Mitch returns regularly every Tuesday to listen to Morrie's lesson on the meaning of life. Mitch bring his tape recorder to tape his discussion with Morrie so that he may compile notes with which to write a book, Tuesdays with Morrie a project with which he and Morrie refer to as their last thesis together. Mitch before when he was in college, he want to finish his thesis as fast as he can. But now, this thesis he have with Morrie, he didn't  want to finish because he still want to psend more time with Morrie.  Every  Tuesday, they talk about something until the thirteen Tuesday. And on the fourteen Tuesday, they say goodbye. Morrie is in bed and barely able to speak. Mitch holds Morrie's hand and tell Morrie that he will come back next Tuesday as he knows that Morrie is tired. He gives Morrie a farewell kiss.

While reading the book, I  really don't know what to feel. There's a part of me that says to continue reading the book but there is also a part of me that I don't want to continue reading because I know how it will end and I don't want to end it that way. When I reach the last chapter, when Mitch is describing his old professor in bed, it made me cry. I felt the pain. I felt the longing and I felt the love.

Trend: Selfie Addiction

Today, you can see people taking photos of themselves in their new dress, new shoes, or while in the restaurant, mall, or just sitting in with their phone then take a photo. And after a while, they will share it on the social media then put some caption like "new dress", "malling at the moment" that will describe their photos and it is called "SELFIE." Selfie is taking a photo of yourself using  smartphone or webcam and then share it on the social media. It trends specially in the social media even the actors and actresses, politician do a selfie. Why this selfie became trend to the people?

 

Filipino is one of the world's happiest people. Our smile is famous worldwide. Just seeing  smiles in the photos gives us also happiness. Taking a selfie is also a matter of expression. Showing  your feeling to others. Taking a selfie and sharing it on the social media is just like sharing yourself to others. Sharing smiles by taking a selfie is like sharing your happiness to others.

 

There is no wrong in taking a selfie. When you only want is to share your happiness to others. As long as it does not affect other people.
 

 

 

My First Time with Them

First time become memorable to us maybe because of the new experience we have on that first time. Especially to me, that first time with my friends is I can say one of my most memorable moment with them. It was Saturday, December 14 and the Christmas is near. It was after class and me with my friends decided to go to riverbank because there are tiangge and we also we also want to grab the opportunity to bond with each other because that is the only time that we had the chance. Because of the different schedule, we have less time with each other. So while on our way, we are happy chatting with each other, bullying each other and laughing each other because even though we didn't admit it, we miss each other. When we reached there, we just go around. While strolling around we suddenly stop at the moment. And we are in front of one of the amusement ride, "Viking." we are starring on the rides and looking on the people while they are laughing and screaming. When they got out of the rides, we saw the people how afraid and yet happy. Then we looked at each other smiling, and we already knew what that mile means. We are all afraid especially because I haven't ride any of those so it took so long for us to convince each other. But finally, we all agree. While waiting on the line, we are all nervous. At that moment, I really feel nervous, afraid but excited at the same time. So when we are in the rides, we hold each other hands and when the rides started, we are all screaming out loud. I shouted calling my mom and promising that I will be good after the ride. When the ride is done, we found ourselves shaking, crying but at the same time happy.

That first time with them is one of the moment that I will treasure the most. That moment with my friends is really a treasure that I will always keep in my heart. I will always be grateful doing my first times with them.

Movie Review: John Q; a father's love

John Q is a 2002 American drama film directed by Nick Cassavetes. The films follow John Quincy Archibald, a father and husband whose is diagnosed with an enlarged heart and then he finds out he cannot receive transplant because HMO insurance will not cover it; therefore, he decided to take a hospital full of patients hostage until the hospital puts his son's name on the recipient lists.

John reveals to the hostage his plan to commit suicide so his heart can be used to save his son. He try to convince Dr. Turner to perform the operation even he know that he will get his license revoked for it. John goes to say his last goodbyes to his son and goes to the operating room. As he holds the gun to his own head, his wife is told about a woman killed in a car crash who happens to have the same blood type as his son and allows the hostage to go free. His son was given the life-saving operation and John was take into the police custody. Three months later, at his trial, all of the witnesses speak on his behalf and he is later acquitted.

Seems not interesting but as you go on watching the movie, you'll see the worth of the movie. It is really a promising movie that everyone can make cry. A father's love that he can do anything for his son. A father that is willing to sacrifice anything for the better of his son. A real and perfect father love, John Q.

Tutorial: Heart cake; Fun cake!

Pan cake is my favorite cereal food. A pan cake is a round flat cake from starch cooked in a frying pan. They may be served at any time with variety of topping such as honey syrup, chocolate syrup, jam and many more depending your taste. So here's are some easy steps on how to cook pancake:

First, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

Second, in a separate bowl mix the milk and egg then after that add that to the flour mix.

Lastly, on a heat pan, pour to make to whatever shape and size you want. (You can add a tiny dice of apple, strawberry, banana etc.)

You can add some topping like a tiny dice of strawberry, apple, banana or put some honey syrup and chocolate syrup.

 

 

Best Day Ever with DJ!

I 'am not a Daniel Padilla fanatic. Yes, he's cute and I like him but since that moment happened. No, he's not cute because he's so handsome and I love him. Maybe that moment is one of the most unforgettable in my life.

It was Sunday, We are on our way to Makati for an interview about DJ. And we are really hoping to meet DJ. But when we reached there, someone come to us and gave us an instruction that we only have to do is to take a selfie on the standee only of DJ. We are disappointed because we thought that we will meet DJ. We waited for hours and we're getting bored. Then suddenly someone call us, then we get in a van and brought us to the location where we are going to the instruction given to us. While waiting inside the van, someone came inside and gave us instruction. We will go inside the convenient store, buy any Pepsi products and we will take a selfie on the standee of DJ with the Pepsi product. We are still hoping that moment to see DJ, but based on the instruction given to us, it is only the standee of DJ. We're really disappointed that time, that we will just do our part. After few minutes waiting, they let us get out in the van and do what was instructed to us. we enter the convenient store, buy any Pepsi products, go to the cashier and take a photo on the standee of DJ in the convenient store. But while taking a photo, the people inside the convenient store suddenly shouted  and there are people went inside the convenient store with camera's. I don't know what's happening that time. When I looked behind, I saw DJ. I mean the real Daniel Padilla not just the standee. I was dumbfounded that time. I don't know what to say that I that only thing that I did was to hug him tightly.

I was really surprise that time. No words can explain my feeling that moment. That moment was really priceless and maybe that is one of the most memorable moment in my life. <3

 A yellowish cake made from cassava fruit with cheese on top. By it's look and aroma, you can definitely say that it is delicious. The blend of the sweet cassava fruit and the salty feeling of the cheese make the unique taste of cassava cake. The best dessert that everyone can enjoy and satisfy in.

When I eat cassava cake, I remember my first love. This is our favorite foods that we eat in our canteen back in high school. When I eat cassava cake, I remember those happy memories with him. I remember those time eating cassava cake happily with him. Those time that we enjoy each other company. Talking and talking anything under the sun and no one seems get bored.

Twice fall

 

 

They say "falling in love is like falling asleep while the class is going on, you're not suppose to but you did." And yes I did, I fall in love with the unexpected person. For some this is funny, for some this is just a joke, for some this is not love for me it is. I 'am really sure about it. Some of you may laugh at me and judge me but who cares. Age is just a damn number. I don't care what people might say as long as I love him, that the only thing that matters to me. It is only him that can make me laugh when I don't even want to smile. It is only him that can make me smile and cry at the same time. It is only him that can make me feel special. This is the real happiness. But that was I thought. In every happiness there is sadness. In every joy there is pain. In every beginning there is ending. And in every hello there is goodbye. Nothing last forever. This is the first time I "fall in love" and this is also the first time I "fall down in love."

Now, I moved on. Not when I say I move is I forget him, I still love him but I just learned how to live without him.

Sometimes me thinks, "What is friend?" And they me say, "Friend is someone to share the last cookie with" - Cookie Monster. Is having a friend does have any requirements? Does she needed to have the same personalities as yours? Does she have the favorite and hobbies as the same as yours for you to call them friend?

I have this friends, we call our group JCRAC. It is from the initial of our names. J-Jane, C-Charmaine, R-Rona, A-Aira and C-Cath. Whenever we're together, we just talk for hours and never get bored. We laugh at random things. We do weird things together and we don't care who sees as long as we're together and we're happy. Even though sometimes we disagree, we never fight. We can only stay mad to each other for a short period of time because we need to tell something that is funny. I love doing first time with them. I love sharing my secrets with them. I love talking non-sense with them. I love bullying them. I love laughing out loud with them. I love doing weird things with my friends. Those are the things that I love doing with my friends and I would always love. We became friends not because we all the have the same character but because we learned to form a happy bonding despite of  our differences.

My friends are my sister from another mother. Despite of our differences, we learned to build a good relationship and to value everyone with those differences. I will and would always share my last cookie with them. JCRAC is always JCRAC.
